Crazy for Espadrilles!

Espadrilles are the perfect option to pair with your sundress or bermudas this summer. A great alternative to regular flip-flops, they are comfortable, casual, and give you a little height, which can make your legs look a lot longer (especially if the entire shoe is nude).

They originated in Pyrenees, where they were outfooted the soles of peasants. Nowadays, they're everyone and in every price budget. How do you know if it's an espadrille or not? The Jute rope is the key ingredient on the heel of the shoe. This fiber is natural and eco-friendly. A high heel or wedge not your thing? Don't fret, they also make espadrilles completely flat just like your flip flop! Happy shopping!

These espadrilles from Stuart Weitzman are perfect and a favorite of Jennifer Aniston. Sadly enough, I can't afford their $365 price tag. Fear not though, I found and purchased a look-a-like!

Steve Madden espadrille for $80. A steal in comparison!

New ANTM news

So some of you may have heard upon the lack of viewers tuning into America's Next Top Model this season. I still tune in religiously, but apparently quite a few have fallen off Tyra's wagon. In my opinion, the designers, AndrĂ© Leon Talley, Italian Vogue...what could get better? It's becoming more about fashion and that is beyond fabulous! Well luckily, ANTM ended up getting another season to try and redeem itself. And guess what? Season 17 is going to be an ALL-STAR season! They are bringing back season faves (not necessarily theh winners) to duke it out. I hope all of you tune in to see the strutting and smizing (and maybe a little drama, too).

Newsflash, Blake Lively is now a redhead!

Looks like Blake Lively is following the new firey-locked trend (Whitney Port, Drew Barrymore and Khloe Kardashian are there, or have just been there). The actress debuted her new look Tuesday night for the TIME 100 Gala in NYC and mentioned the new style is for her flick, 'Hick.' These strawberry-tinged locks are perfect for summer and are stunning on anyone! I wish I had the guts to try to this out. I love it!

Etsy Pick: Elegance Is Bliss

Anne's collection of designer vintage finds in Elegance is Bliss is astounding. Marc Jacobs clutch for $30? For real? Stella McCartney, Christian LaCroix, you can find anything and everything here! She describes her store as vintage and unique, which is definitely true. There are quite a few finds that I would like to own. Thanks, Anne! I love your shop!

Clairol's Hair Color Recall

As someone who occasionally box-dyes my hair (I know, bad right?), I recently found a reason to stop. Upon buying Clairol Natural Instincts hair dye a month ago, it sat in my drawer and never got used. I basically forgot I had it, and that was that. But today, I found out the exact dye I bought had been recalled for apparently not being the color it was intended to be after using the ColorFresh Revitalizer packet. Good thing I didn't use it! I just wanted to put out the word for my fellow do-it-yourself readers!

Inspired by Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston is one celebrity whose style I feel fits my own almost to a T. Her wardrobe consists of stylish and practical neutrals with new and different silhouettes. My wardrobe consists mainly of black and so does hers. Jeans, tanks, blazers..with some aviators and a gold charm. Although her casual, day-to-day outfits are basic, she really know how to do red carpet. Her wardrobe is anything but boring!
