Well John aka my great boyfriend (and photographer) is gone until next week, so unfortunately my outfits from the last couple of days haven't been captured. (So they didn't happen, right?) I guess, I could have tried to set up my camera with a timer, but trying to find a tree stump the right height or cleaning my apartment to create a good background weren't really in the cards today. Good thing I have some photos on hand just in case. I like to call these pants my Aladdin pants (or my MC Hammer pants). But-- the kid in me loves Aladdin, err... Prince Ali, though, so here they are. Genie not included.

Of course it's apparent in my blog name that i'm seriously obsessed with my dog. Yes, it's true. I am a crazy pug lady. I thought it would only be fitting to add some pictures of my so-called muse once and a while so are some recent pictures of my beloved. Enjoy!
I found the most amazing shorts a couple weekends ago at Anthropologie and I feel as if they were made for me. Not only were they on sale but they are printed with turtles, fish and sea jellies. Everyone who knows me knows about my ocean critter-obsession so these shorts truly complete my wardrobe. Love them.
Remember Jason Wu mania at Target? Those crazy people getting up when the store opened? Yep, I was one of them. I made out with a few pieces from his Target collaboration earlier this year and this pleated skirt is one of them. There is something about wearing pleats that makes me feel so ladylike. I love that I can wear it with absolutely everything and dress it up or down. This was a look I wore to work on Thursday and decided to snap a few pics before changing into my sweats for the evening. Have a good weekend everyone! I'm planning to have a relaxing one! xoxo, MS

As much as I love the coziness and layering quality of winter clothes, there's something about throwing on a pair of shorts and sandals to really put you in a great mood. I got these amazing Miu Miu gladiator sandals for a steal(!) and have been wearing them nonstop. Hope everyone is having a warm, sunny week!

Well there's no good excuse for being away so long--last post was what, March? I decided to get back in on and get inspired with a new layout and new outlook. One thing (person) to majorly get me feeling that creative fashion spark again? Olivia Palermo. She used to irk me when watching her on The City (her cattiness towards Whitney was definitely uncalled for), but seeing all of the shots of her casually strolling around NYC on Pinterest, I have decided I love her. Not love her-love her, I am just utterly crazy about her style! Here are some of my favorite looks. SO glad i'm back! xoxo, MS
