Flyin'

Now that I am back in NM after a series of short trips back home, I am feeling inspired. I love seeing comfy-cozy travel outfits jetting back and forth in every airport I step foot in. Why is it that a simple pair of skinnies and ballet flats seem so impossibly chic? Well, because they are so effortless!  Throw on a scarf and fedora and you're golden! Today I had a day off, but decided to head into work anyway for a couple of hours. It's always fun to see the new pieces we're getting in (today--Elizabeth and James and some adorable Dolce Vita oxfords that i'm majorly covetting!). After leaving work and running some errands, my photographer (cough, cough John) decided to snap a few pictures before heading home. Sorry for the delay in posts--I took a quick trip back to SD for the weekend for my hometown celebration (street dance, rodeo, totally small-town stuff=big time blast). POC: Pop of Color

We didn't have any big plans for this weekend, so lounging around was top priority. But then we decided to get a new mattress--not just a new one, a king-sized new one. We had been sleeping on a full size for a while but decided to upgrade. Sounds fun and exciting, right? Well it would have been if I had some upper muscle strength (we had to carry the old mattress and its parts down a flight of stairs) and if it didn't decided to pour outside on Saturday when they delivered the new one. Well, now that it's in I can have a sigh of relief!

Oh, and my outfit is from today when we hit up the Railyard to get some drinks at a local brewery. Pretty low-key, a pop of color in my belt and lipstick and voila!
